My first Stitch Fix box came today! It was like my birthday came a little early :)
I need to find a place with better lighting to take pictures for things like this… but it’s still stormy outside… so this is what you get! That, plus my work sock bun and everyday no-makeup face… sorry, not sorry. :)
Pomelo Colibri Chevron Print Sleeveless Blouse | $44 | Status: Going back
The style is okay. The fit was alright. I’m just really not a fan of the print.
Sweet Rain Isaac Floral Print Tab-Sleeve Blouse | $48 | Status: Going back
Love the tab sleeve and the pleat details on the front. And I always love a good floral! But I’m not sure how much use I would get out of this one. Danny liked it more than I did, but not enough that I wanted to keep it.
Kensie Jeans Kaleigh Ankle Biter Skinny Jean | $88 | Status: Going back
Well they’re ankle biters alright! I wasn’t sure what to do with the length of these. Do I call them ankle jeans? I guess so, but I don’t think they’re supposed to be ankle jeans. I wonder if Stitch Fix carries any pants in long lengths. Hmm… these were a tough call. They were super soft, and fit like a glove (they almost felt more like leggings), but my uncertainty led me to say no. Plus I already have a pair of teal capris – not exactly the same style, but similar enough.
41Hawthorn Filbert Abstract Striped Henley Blouse | $58 | Status: Keeper
I really loved the sleeve detail on this one – it’s very unique. Plus, I imagine this one being good for casual or for work. I am extremely lacking in clothes I’ll be able to wear to work once I get out of the military, so this one’s a keeper!
Pomelo Corinna Striped Heathered Dolman Top | $48 | Status: Going back
Actually this top is perfect. So amazingly comfy. The fabric is heavenly soft. Unfortunately I have a very similar grey top hanging in my closet already. :/
Overall thoughts — I’m very pleased with my first box! My stylist on this one was Samantha. She seems to get me… just not enough to force me to buy the whole box… which I’m okay with :) ha. But yea, first thoughts are that I’m probably going to be a big Stitch Fix fan. I am a lazy shopper, and I love surprises. Win, and win.

That is an interesting concept, but not sure if I would try it! Thank you for sharing your experience! :)
