I’m a little late posting this one, but here’s what I got in my Stitch Fix box last month! This was the first time I put something in the “note to your stylist” box before they put my fix together — I requested a vest for fall.
Tulle Percie Gathered Waist Puffer Vest | $78 | Status: Sent back
Ok, yes, I know… I asked for a vest. And I love the brand; I actually have a dress that I found on their sale page a few years ago (and by a few I mean like 6… ugh, where does the time go!?). Looking back at this one it wasn’t all that bad… maybe. The shape just didn’t win me over. It didn’t photograph well enough to tell, but it was too puffed out at the bottom so it gave me a very weird shape, so I sent it back. I actually went shopping a little with my mom yesterday and found this vest at Old Navy that I love… so my vest fix has been satiated for now :)
Market and Spruce Aleah Heathered V-Neck Dolman Top | $48 | Status: Keeper!
Color… perfect. Fit… perfect. I’m never sure about dolman tops; I don’t really think they’re all that flattering. But this was super comfy and it is a perfectly lightweight sweater material. It definitely won me over! Those jeans are from my last fix. They’ve absolutely been my best Stitch Fix purchase to date; I’ve been wearing them almost every day since they came in the mail! :)
Kut from the Kloth Danny 5-Pocket Knit Pant | $68 | Status: Sent back
These are amazing. Apparently knit pants are a thing now!? I don’t know these things. It’s like a slight step up from leggings… just enough to keep you out of the ‘leggings are not pants’ category. But what’s the difference between knit pants and jeggings? Or ponte pants? Oh, dear. These actually fit amazingly. And Danny thought I would be able to pull them off at work. And of course they had a great name. I’m just still not sure about the whole thing… I guess I just need to accept it because they’re crazy comfy. Hmm… next time, knit pants. Next time.

Bay to Baubles Walker Rhinestone Bar Fan Necklace | $32 | Status: Sent back
The picture on the left is the front, but I almost liked the back better. Either way, it wasn’t something I was going to get much use out of.
The last item I’m not sharing because I ended up keeping it for a gift. :) Overall this box was a winner I think. It was very fall-appropriate and mostly my style. Actually, the more boxes I get from Stitch Fix and the more I pay attention to my shopping, the more I realize I have no idea what my style is, or if I even have one. I picked out and ordered a few things for myself earlier this month and ended up taking them back to the store. Maybe it’s just better if I let other people dress me :)
Here are my other fixes:
Until next time,
This is a really cool idea, and probably good for my bank balance that I don’t know of anything like it in the UK! The red top looks fantastic on you :)
