September Stitch Fix

Stitch Fix #4

Google Stitch Fix and what do you find!? THIS!

It’s crazy! I mean… think of another company that has people constantly advertising for them to this extent. I’m sure there are some…maybe Apple… :/ but either way, I’m constantly impressed by their methods of getting and keeping customers. Maybe it’s the power of referral links and the $25 credit that you get if someone tries Stitch Fix from your link… but personally, I think other peoples’ reviews are half the fun of participating in Stitch Fix. Maybe that’s weird :) But that’s why I decided to post my own reviews, even though it feels uncomfortable sometimes. I also love to look up the items I get to see what other people thought of them. It’s always funny when the items I love the most are the ones other people hate or vice versa.

Anywhoo… on to my Stitch Fix advertising! :) Oh, and by the way I really do think Stitch Fix is awesome… I have to admit I am completely on their bandwagon.

Mystree Charlie Mixed Stripe Maxi Skirt | $68 | Status: Keeper!

I think my stylist read my mind! I was just about to go on and request a maxi skirt, but when I got on there, the site said they were already processing my request. I’ve seen this one a few times in other peoples’ fixes and I wasn’t so sure about it. But as soon as I put it on I knew I wouldn’t be taking it off anytime soon. It’s so soft and comfy! Not super long, but it’ll work! I made a maxi skirt a while back but it shrank too much when I washed it so I gave it to my sis. So anyway, I needed another one… maxi skirts are like socially-acceptable sweat pants! Win!

41Hawthorn Aspen Boat Neck Striped Cotton Tee | $54 | Status: Going back

It’s very nautical (check out those anchor buttons)! I completely understand why she chose this for me. I love the nautical look and I have tons of stripes on my Pinterest board. This one just didn’t do much for me, and it was a little too big to be flattering.

Level 99 Rae Straight Leg Jean | $68 | Status: Keeper!

These are awesome! And they perfectly fill a skinny jean void in my closet. Just like the skirt, when I put them on I didn’t want to take them off!

Kut From The Kloth Norman Floral Print Button Up Blouse | $68 | Status: Going back

When I first pulled this out of the box, I thought it was kinda cute. The more I looked at it the more I realized it was definitely not me. And the more I look at it, the less I like it even still. Hmm… maybe I just don’t know how to style it. Maybe I should just let it go and move on…

Renee C Hubert Space Dye Open Cardigan | $58 | Status: Going back (reluctantly)

I love the style and the fabric. It’s very comfy and would go perfectly with a lot of my closet. Fortunately and unfortunately, I just bought a very, very similar cardigan in a very similar color. As Danny said, if you like the style, you’re allowed to have more than one… but I couldn’t do it… I spent about $10 on the other one (on sale from T.J.Maxx) so I couldn’t handle the cost of this one. I’d definitely recommend it, though. :)

My only complaint from this box was that my stylist spelled my name wrong. Right on the paper it says Kyla at the top… then her message right below that said “Hi Kayla! I am thrilled to be helping you with your 4th Fix!…”. Ugh! Kyla is not Kayla! Or Kylee… or Kyle… or Tyler. Just sayin’! Anyway, despite that, she did an awesome job! :)

Until next time,
