So excited! We leave tomorrow night on a red-eye flight for Belize. It’s my first time out of the country (other than Canada or a cruise line) since I studied abroad in 2005… that’s way too long for my liking! :) We’re meeting up with (some of) Danny’s family and staying on one of the little secluded islands off the coast (Ambergris Caye)… apparently some of the best scuba diving in the world. I’m hoping that I get over myself and get brave enough to take a scuba course while I’m there… we’ll see tho :) Also hoping to take an excursion to the mainland to see some Mayan ruins and such. We’ll be there during the Costa Maya Festival, so hopefully it’s not too crazy. Whatever we do, I’m sure it will be amazing! So my bag has actually been packed since last weekend.
