Okay, so I didn’t actually get her groceries, but I did make her a cloth grocery bag to go with her (very late!) birthday present this year. I used this super easy tutorial… and will definitely be making more of these for myself! Quick… easy… very useful! This was also one of those times where I take pictures, but don’t load them onto my computer to realize they aren’t really in focus until after I’ve already sent the gift to its recipient. I hate when that happens. :/ Oh well… there it is nonetheless… more to come! In the meantime, my focus is on prepping for my sister’s baby shower coming up in September. Having way too much fun coming up with ideas (both things I’ll be making for the shower AND for my little nephew)! :) Until next time,

Some days I just want to punch Danny in the face. Other days… he shows me what love is. In this case, love is regularly pulling my nasty hair out of the drain. We’ll set aside the fact that he used my crochet hook this time to do so… but really. If that’s not love, I don’t know what is. :) Okay, okay… maybe it’s just him fed up with the fact that I don’t do it… :/ But either way, he does it and doesn’t bug me about it. And that’s awesome in my book. OH… and love is also my new bathing suit. We’ll just remember this as the time a blogger got me to buy something. I can’t for the life of me remember who’s blog it was, but she was wearing this suit and I almost instantly went on and bought it. Not modeling it for you… but you get the drift… so adorable! Can’t wait to get back to California so I can actually get some use out of it! …
Happy Hump Day! Time flies! It’s already been a month since I got my first Stitch Fix box! Got this one on Friday… and it was neat because they definitely read your feedback – and look at your Pinterest boards. Crazy world we live in, I tell you! I actually wasn’t as excited about what I got in this one as the last one… but from what I’ve read they get better over time as they figure out what you like. Ark n Co Bellatrix Embroidered Detail Maxi Dress | $88 | Status: Going back On the note, she said this was her out-of-the-box choice for me, and that she’d noticed a similar dress on my Pinterest board (I’m assuming this one). I definitely like where she was going with this, but the fit was all off. Even if I were to alter it, I can see this as one of those dresses that I say I like and that I’ll wear but then never do. Danny’s reaction to this one was “little Dutch boy suspenders” … …
