Well the new year is officially upon us! And it’s definitely going to be an exciting one! First up, my amazing best friend is getting maaaaried in June in Maui! Yaaay!
Is that not the cutest?! Shortly after she got engaged she gave me this. I’m very excited, but first I need to figure out what a Maid of Honor is supposed to do! In the past week alone, she got her location booked, date set, engagement photos done, and yesterday she said yes to the dress (it’s so beautiful!!!)! She’s a wedding machine!
Love that girl.
Next up, sewing!
Plans, plans, plans! Well, I may be overwhelming myself with plans :) But they all fall together pretty well so we’ll see. :) There are the ongoing sewing-year-3 goals, my Workday Wardrobe Project (which falls directly in line with goal 3)… and I’ll also be fasting for the first 3 months of the new year. No new RTW clothes, no new fabric… my goal is to use only what I have already in my sewing room. Which is plenty. Don’t let me fool you into thinking I need more. I don’t.
With that, I’m sure I will come up with some excuses, but I’ll let you know when I do.

Excuse #1. Maid of Honor dress… okay, this one is necessary! Whether I decide to buy it or make it, I will need to purchase something. And I definitely don’t want to put it off until last minute. So that’s that. Stay tuned for excuse #2 ;/
