I stole this idea from a few people who were posting on Facebook… daily notes on what you are thankful for throughout November. I already missed a few days, but I will try to make up for it:
November – I am thankful to be a part of the United States Armed Forces and the US Air Force Pharmacy Family. Last week, I attended the Joint Forces Pharmacy Seminar where members from all different branches come together to share ideas and learn what is new and upcoming in DoD Pharmacy. Even though the event was almost cancelled, our learership stepped up and made it happen for another year. This was my first Joint Forces, and it was really awesome to see everyone come together like that, sharing stories and experiences. I am thankful to be a part of something so much bigger than myself and I look forward to everything the future has to bring within this organization.
November – I am thankful for short hair! I recently cut it and it’s the shortest it’s been in as long as I can remember. Takes me less than 2 minutes to fix it in the morning!
November – I am thankful for my vacuum and my SpotBot deep carpet cleaner… a clean carpet always has a way of putting me in a good mood.
November – I am thankful for Black Dog Animal Rescue and every other animal rescue organization across the nation. The amount of selfless dedication and time the members of these organizations put in is staggering, all in the name of our furry friends who aren’t able to stand up for themselves. I’ve had the honor of fostering three dogs now, and even though there are ups and downs with every fostering experience (see 3 Nov) :), I am so glad to be at least a small part of such a huge effort to save the animals and create a no-kill culture. They are worth it.
