Catching Up… Maui Wedding Makes!

Let’s not talk about when I actually made these… ;) Let’s just jump right in… First up… TEAM BRIDE Shirts! The bride helped me with these ones… I broke out my Cricut for the first time in a LONG time (I’ve only used it a couple of times – here and here – but when I need it, it definitely comes in handy!!!). I cut and she ironed :) We ALMOST ran out of the vinyl, so we had to get creative with the cutting on the last couple, but we ended up having just enough!   The shirts are from here, and we used glitter vinyl that I’ve had sitting around for a couple of years. I can’t even remember what I originally bought it for :/ All of the shirts were mint except for the bride’s which of course was white and just said Bride. I originally had thought about buying them… but this way was so much better! Not to mention quicker and cheaper! See them in full bridal force here. :) Next up, the Hey June …

Top 5 of 2015

Phew! Where has this month gone?! And this year! Ugh… it’s always the same… it flies by. It’s fun to look back though! So I’m joining in with Gillian’s Top 5 again this year to reflect a little (here was last year, in case you’re interested). Top 5 Hits 1. Halloween, definitely. Just everything about it. So, yes, you better believe I finished (mostly) ;)   2. My Ginger Jeans! They are far from perfect but I’m still excited about making jeans in the first place so they were a definite win. To be honest, though, I didn’t pre-wash my fabric well enough to hold in the color so I’ve only worn them a couple of times because my hands/skin end up blue. They’ve been sitting on my …

30 before 30 – The Results!

A little over a year ago, I made a plan. 30 things to do before I turned 30. Well that year came and went in about a day! I always say time flies, but I’m pretty sure it just goes by faster and faster as you get older. Maybe at some point it slows down again? I can wish, right? :) Anywhoo… here ya go! The results are in! 1  |  Grow something edible. My parents had one of those strawberry pots with all the holes in the sides just sitting around, so I acquired it, along with a few baby starter plants. This little guy was the only strawberry that survived before the worms got them and the pot dried out. I wish I’d gotten my dad’s green thumb, but unfortunately I did not. Or have not developed it yet. But nonetheless… I grew a strawberry! One day… 2  |  Learn to cold brew coffee. Darn. Not yet. I really should while the weather is still warm! Here’s a little inspiration, self.     Seems super …
