Happenings | Zoe caught and killed her first gopher. :/ In our house, we call them “ground kitties”. They are all over our backyard and the pups love to run and dig after them. I’m afraid it’s turning into a grotesque version of whac-a-mole :/ Also finally broke down and got a new phone… I got the Moto X… it’s pink and white and no short of amazing. That means I can stop stealing Danny’s phone to sync my Misfit… :) which is really what spurred me to get a new one in the first place. I’ve only had it for a few days, but I’m loving it so far! Reading | Finished A Short History of Tractors in Ukranian by Marina Lewycka. It was a good read… and I love her style of first-person writing; it comes out in a way that you feel like you’re really in the main character’s head (in a different way than normal… I can’t explain it). Reading | Last year I only read seven books all year. This year I’d love that number to be closer to twelve. I obviously don’t read as much as I would like to, but I’ve recently found a little time during lunch at work. Finished Seven Up (always lighthearted fun with Stephanie Plum); started A Short History of Tractors in Ukrainian.   Watching | Netflix, of course! We recently finished Season 9 of Criminal Minds. That show is so addicting! Also Season 8 of Psych. Currently watching Season 4 of Being Human (US version); it’s just getting crazier and crazier. I tried to watch the second season of Hemlock Grove but I barely made it through the first episode. Maybe that show is just too much for me; maybe I’ll try again later. Yes, I rarely watch cable but still watch way too much TV :/    Sewing | I only finished one project this month, but I just cut fabric for 3 more, so hopefully I get those going soon.
