DIY “Adopt Me” Vest

Taking inspiration from here, here, and here – I decided to take on the adopt me vest and make my own version for BDAR (as you may know, I used to be a foster mom to some adorable pups… until this one came along and we foster failed) :) So now that I can’t foster anymore (silly rental agreements), I’m trying to find other ways to help out. Hence, my first sewing project with my new sewing machine. Note: I watched my mom sew through my entire childhood, but this is my first unassisted sewing project ever… so if I can do it… you know the saying :) Easy peasy. Haircut

Today I tried to convince Danny it would be a good idea for me to cut his hair. I have no idea why he didn’t like my idea. He drove around and couldn’t get into any of the barbers in town, so he said he was desperate… but apparently not desperate enough to trust me and my scissors. :/ I told him I’m really good at learning things from YouTube… I mean, it really shouldn’t matter that the only things I usually learn on YouTube are new knitting techniques… right!?! I still have complete confidence that I could do it… but we’ll see… maybe if he stays still enough in his sleep… :)
